About

# I start with how the business actually operates.

I am Bruno Zanatello Acosta, an industrial engineer and software builder. Zanatello Acosta Consulting (ZAC) is my independent practice, based in Innlandet, Norway.

## Who you work with

“I’ve run the operation, mapped the system and written the code. ZAC is where those three meet.”

I start with how the business actually operates, not with a preferred tool. I map the process, make constraints visible and rank the opportunities before designing anything. When the answer includes software, automation or AI, I define it, prototype it and help deliver it.

Before ZAC I spent almost five years at Amazon Spain: first running returns and inbound operations with teams of 60 to 250 people per shift, then as a process engineer planning the national delivery network. Along the way I trained new area managers, and routines I built for one site were adopted across Europe. Earlier I led process-improvement projects at ID Logistics in Buenos Aires and was an engineering trainee in transport and distribution at BASF.

Everything I show from those years is labelled as a prior role. It is my work, done as an employee, and none of it is ZAC client work.

Four modes, one person

## Operator, engineer, product builder, applied-AI practitioner.

**Operator:** I understand daily constraints, ownership, deadlines and adoption, because I have run the shift.
**Engineer:** I map systems, dependencies and bottlenecks, and I measure performance.
**Product builder:** I turn ambiguity into requirements, prototypes, roadmaps and products.
**Applied AI:** I use AI where it improves a real workflow, not as the product by default, and as a tool to build and test code faster while keeping full ownership of the logic.

## How I work

1. ### Practical

Useful change with a clear owner, not a programme. I would rather ship one working tool than a deck about ten.

2. ### Measurable

Every intervention has a number attached before it starts, so you can tell whether it worked.

3. ### Transparent

Your tools, your repositories, documented systems and an explicit handover.

4. ### Independent

I have no vendor to sell you and no team to keep busy. When a scope needs a specialist, I name them.
