About ZAC
QST.01What is Zanatello Acosta Consulting (ZAC)?
Zanatello Acosta Consulting (ZAC) is an independent product, systems and operations consultancy led by Bruno Zanatello Acosta, based in Innlandet, Norway and working internationally.
ZAC finds where a business loses time, money or control in its daily operations, designs the smallest change that fixes it, and helps build it: a clearer process, an internal tool, an automation or a product definition.
About Bruno
What kind of companies does ZAC work with?
ZAC works with growing teams whose operations have become more complex than their tools and processes.
Typical clients are founder-led and growth-stage companies, Norwegian SMEs modernising their workflows, operations-heavy businesses in logistics, mobility, commerce, energy, industry or services, product teams that need definition before a build, and international firms that want an independent, English-speaking partner based in Norway.
What problems does ZAC solve?
ZAC solves operational friction: work that is slower, more manual or less reliable than it should be.
Common examples: an important process runs on spreadsheets, messages and memory; tools do not match how the work actually happens; a team knows automation or AI could help but not where to start; or an idea needs a solid product definition and delivery plan before anyone builds it.
Where is ZAC based, and do you work outside Norway?
ZAC is based in Øyer, Innlandet, Norway, and works with clients in Norway and internationally.
Work is remote by default and on site when it helps. The working language is English; Bruno also works in Spanish.
Services and how they work
QST.02What services does ZAC offer?
ZAC offers four engagement modes: Diagnose, Design, Build and Embed.
Diagnose is a system and opportunity audit. Design is a product and workflow blueprint. Build is focused delivery of a tool, automation or prototype. Embed is a fractional product and operations partner for a fixed term. Each mode has a stated boundary.
The four services
Where should we start if we are not sure what the problem is?
Start with Diagnose, the system and opportunity audit.
It maps how the work actually runs, finds where value is lost and ranks what to change first. It ends with a current-state map, a prioritised list of opportunities and a scoped first intervention you can take forward with ZAC or anyone else.
Diagnose
Does ZAC only advise, or does it also build?
Both: ZAC diagnoses, designs and builds, and states the boundary for each engagement in writing.
ZAC builds focused internal tools, workflow automations, AI-assisted processes, data workflows and prototypes. For larger platforms, ZAC leads the definition and delivery and coordinates named specialists.
How does a ZAC engagement work?
Every engagement follows five steps: Map, Prioritise, Design, Build, Transfer.
Map the people, decisions, tools and handoffs. Prioritise opportunities by value, effort and risk. Design the smallest intervention that matters. Build it. Transfer it with documentation, a named owner and a handover.
The approach
What is a fractional product and operations partner?
It is ZAC’s Embed service: senior product and operations support for a defined period, delivered by an independent business.
It runs for a fixed term, for example three or six months, with named deliverables and a review date, and a set number of days per month scheduled by ZAC. ZAC recommends, prepares and coordinates; the client’s leadership decides. There is no line management, signing authority or budget ownership, and ZAC works with several clients.
Embed
AI, tools and independence
QST.03Is ZAC an AI consultancy?
No. ZAC is a product, systems and operations consultancy that uses AI where it improves a real workflow.
AI is one possible component of a better system, alongside process changes, simpler tools and automation. Every engagement starts with how the work actually runs, not with a preferred technology.
Will we depend on ZAC after the project?
No. The default is documented systems, transparent tools, repositories you own and an explicit handover.
Code and automations live in your accounts from day one, and every engagement ends with a named owner on your side.
Can one independent consultant handle a project like ours?
Yes, for diagnosis, definition, prototyping, focused builds and coordination; for larger scopes, Bruno brings in named specialists.
You work directly with the person doing the work, and the scope states who does what before anything starts.
Does ZAC resell software or take commissions from vendors?
No. ZAC is independent and has no vendor to sell you.
Tool recommendations are based on your process and budget, including keeping what you already have.

QST.04What experience does Bruno Zanatello Acosta have?
